Low FODMAP Stovetop Fish and Chips

Try this healthier version of this traditionally high calorie dish. We think you'll like ours better!


Makes 2 servings

OPN Conversion: 1 protein + 1 starch + 3 fat



  1. Wash and scrub any dirt and debris from potatoes

  2. Slice potatoes into thin rounds or fry shapes as you prefer

  3. Heat 1 Tbsp oil in pan over medium to high heat

  4. Once pan is hot add potatoes; sprinkle with salt and pepper

  5. Stir as needed letting potatoes brown and soften without burning

  6. Combine flour and spices on a plate, mixing thoroughly

  7. Coat fish with desired spice combination

  8. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a seperate skillet over medium to high heat

  9. Once oil is very hot, place fish in and set a 3 minute timer, adjust heat to medium as needed (higher heat will keep the light coating adhered to the fish)

  10. After 3 minutes flip to other side, turn down to medium or low, set 5 minute timer

  11. Temp fish, remove when fish reaches 145 degrees, fish should easily flake

  12. Discard leftover spice mix

  13. Portion, garnish, and enjoy!
